CELL SIGNAL PROS
Cell Booster Solutions & Installation
STRENGTHEN YOUR CELL PHONE SIGNAL WITH HELP FROM CELL SIGNAL PROS SERVING DETROIT, MI, LANSING, MI AND SURROUNDING AREAS
Cell phone signal can be a fickle thing. One minute your conversation could be coming through crystal clear, and the next you realize you’ve been talking to nobody for the last 30 seconds. Cell Signal Pros can help you by providing you with cell phone signal boosters. We’re located in Eaton Rapids, MI and serve most of southern Michigan.
You might need our signal boosting services if:
You have a Metal Roof
Metal Siding or Low-E Glass on your Building
You’re too far away from the nearest service tower
The Signal is Blocked by Trees, Ridges or Tall Adjoining Structures
You’re using your cell phone in a basement or subterranean area

NEW CELL SIGNAL BOOSTER INSTALLATION, SERVICE OR UPGRADES
Typical enterprise solutions are made up of “cells” that can have one or more outdoor “donor” antennas that link directly to one or more cell towers sending signals to & from the tower to the cell signal booster (bda).
The booster amplifies signal in both directions and inside is connected to one or more indoor coverage antennas with a typical cell having 4 to 6 indoor antennas. The amount of coverage is relative to the outdoor signal captured by the outdoor antenna, the more signal available, the more coverge per cell inside. The larger the building, the more “cells” will be required to cover large areas.
Todays bdas (Bi-Directional Amplifiers), typically cover all major carriers over all bands including 2g, 3g and 4g data. The solutions offered are not specific to any one carrier, but can be optimized for any preferred carrier. In some areas, certain carriers may not provide good coverage due to distance to the tower or absence of that carriers signal at the site.
STEP 1: Site Survey
The first step to providing a viable & financially sound solution is a visit to the facility to document the signals available at the roof top and to consider locations for outdoor antennas.
Signals are then documented indoors in key areas and a general walk out of the facility to consider the areas to be serviced by the cell signal booster system. Areas are designated “critical”, “desirable” & “not necessary”!
These cell booster systems are scalable, and, in many deployments, we are typically doing critical areas initially and over time, additional cells are deployed as budgets and demand requires.
• Log signals from roof outside
• Log signals inside
• Take pictures & video inside & outside
• Determine if “plenum rated (fire retardant) cable is needed
• Look at vertical & horizontal cable routes
• Discuss work plans & times
STEP 2: Initial Design
After the site survey, an initial design is overlayed on facility prints indicating placement of outdoor “donor” antennas, location of indoor bi-directional amplifiers, general routing of indoor cables, passive devices and indoor antennas.
STEP 3: Proposal
After the site survey & initial design, a proposal is provided for the project and the details are reviewed and adjustments are made as required. If the proposal is accepted, final design, cable routing, and work plan are fine-tuned, and a final price and timeline are developed.
